Came across this interesting fuel tank by Rade Garage out of Prague.

Lower CG, a little more capacity and some weight saving.

Promises improved ergonomics but that's rider dependant... I do like the lower position and more space though.

Only initial concerns are how rigid it is but I'm sure the CF seat base helps with that... and how well it sustains a crash.

My only concern would be how it holds up in a crash, the fact it's also the subframe puts a lot of pressure on the structure if the bike goes upside down. That aside i think it looks good

I don't believe the 1kg weight reduction over the stock tank. Maybe 1kg over the stock subframe and tank combination. The stock tank when stripped of all of its parts is very lightweight. The aluminium feels like you could dent it with your thumb. To think they got 2.2lbs off of that seems like a stretch.

I assume that’s what’s implied.

Yep, I read it, as everything removed (on the ground by the bike) vs the plastic tank/subframe combo.
Tbf, I don't think they fitted a rain light. And, unsure of the cabling for the DDA.
Either way, sure that there's some weight saving there. And, the additional fuel capacity could come in handy.
I've messaged re cost...

Have I got it right, It's moulded plastic? If so the other concern I would have is heat deformation with the high mounted exhaust pipes.

Indeed… but so is the rear cowling and that’s even closer to the pipes. The vertical part of the pipe might be cause for concern.

Good point nonetheless.

This area might also be a concern but it’s heat shielded.

Will email them and ask…

They went the Kramer route

A. Is it paintable?
B. Will my FullSixCF Fairings work with it?
C. Will the stock shaped battery cover work with it?
D. Do you have to re-arrange any of the electronics etc under the battery cover in front of the tank?

E. Anyone want to buy a gently used MotoHolders subframe and full CF interior tail section? 😂😂😂

E. Do you sell a 40 mm seat pad for it?
F. Will it fit on a 2020 V4S that has V4R fairings installed
