pretty low bar everywhere these days, no serious leaders and no real democracy in the west. Trump is not going to change much if anything, might be a few less rainbow flags flying from state houses but that's about it.

I’m sure this is more propaganda. I asked 14 democrats what inflation was and only 2 could tell me. If people weren’t so ....... stupid, actually ....... stupid beyond all measure, there wouldn’t even be a democratic party. The truth is, people aren’t really stupid, they are just uneducated, and so believe whatever they are told the most often, whoever yells the loudest, and whoever is the most emotionally forceful. No guessing who that party is.

Not sure how you interpreted that as contempt. Actions have consequences and I think the Boomer genre has forgotten this. The Boomer generation has gotten everything given to them and hasn’t had to face any adversity. Trump v2 will be their adversity with Trump slashing Medicare and Social Security and making everyday life for older folks more difficult. They made their cake. They’ll have to eat it.
