Is it B group or not?

You want opinions but you don’t. Sounds like you just want people to agree with you more than anything.

None of these mods will help if you haven’t developed the skill to exploit them. A stock V4 can run a couple seconds off WSBK lap times so these mods are marginal. Spend the money on track time and tires not poseur fancy parts.

But sure that linear link is going to turn you into Rossi smh

I've been saying this for years, a well set up stock bike with sticky tires is all you need until you are really fast. But that misses the point, which is that bikes are toys and we like to improve them regardless of the cost/benefit ratio. If someone wants to spend mega bucks on that journey, it's not for me to tell them they can't.

A well set up stock bike what is that? I'll accept this as referring to an S version of whatever superbike Ducati has made. If you can go fast on marginal pavement with a Sachs shock in the back then you're just way more talented than most. As for me the fun part is always the sorting the bike out and making it easy to ride fast (as I'm old and lazy). So whatever that takes. There aren't any U-Haul trailers behind the hearse. I agree they are simply toys (in a semi terrifying Chucky sense). Your money, have fun.

Well set up is the suspension working for your weight and style, we are talking track here not back roads. The S is better on the street because of the dynamic suspension, no real advantage on track except the shock is better. A base is perfectly fine until you get under 10 seconds of the lap record.

Because for the uninitiated it’s easy for these “upgrades” to actually hamper you rather than improve.

Thinking motorcycles are toys is the wrong thinking. They should be thought of as tools

They are toys, dangerous ones but still toys. Ride one to work each day, use it as primary means of transport then sure its a tool but not on this board and not in this discussion where its all about going around in circles occasionally and bickering over how many seconds that takes lol!
