Hello, can’t seem to find this exact question here.
I want to fit akrapovic slip on for panigale v4s 2021, my dealer says I dont need akrapovic lower fairings for slip on system?
Is that true because I thought lower fairings are must have for slip on and full system.

It may fit with the stock lower fairings but I don’t think it will look right since there’s be too much area cut away where the stock exhaust would be.

When you buy the lower race fairings they come with an insert which blocks off the portion where the Akra exhaust pipe would be on the right side, in case you are using the slip on. The instructions even mention it.

The Termi slip ons work fine with the OEM lower fairings.

You will still need the lower fairings to fit with the exhaust. If you want I can price out Akra slipons for you. Or Termi slipons. But personally I would say go with the Vandemon slip ons for your V4. I sell a ton of titanium Vandemon exhausts for Ducatis on the forum. And Vandemon just came out with slipons for the V4 and SFV4. They cost much less than the Akra. Plus youre not mated to the one Upmap that you get with the Akras. The dealer downloads one upmap into your bike. If you want some other system then you have to have the dealer remove the upmap in order to run something else. I sold 3 Vandemon slip ons to guys in NY. And they wound up getting the full Upmap T800 unit which you install in your bike and can control through your phone. They can play around with different maps and adjust them. Since the Vandemon is pretty much like the Akra they downloaded Akra maps with the full upmap t800. The full upmap t800 is totally different than the one upmap a dealer downloads into the bike.

As for the termi slip ons. Depending on your weight. You may scrape the left exhaust can if you lean too to much to the left. When Vandemon designed his slip ons he made sure to design them like the Akras where the left side didnt scrape no matter how much you leaned to the left. Or if you exceeded the max weight the stock front and rear springs were designed for. As for the Akras. Guys who ordered the full system or slipons for their V4 models. Or other models. They gave me their vin #s which I emailed to where I get them from. They in turn emailed them to ducati in bologna. Ducati unlocked it upmap. And any dealer could now download that single upmap into your bike while doing the install. But as I mentioned, I would advice against that single upmap. Guys who bought the Akras for me also bought the full upmap t800 unit from me because of the price I gave them on the akras
