Mag wheels gold or black?

I am thinking about getting the marchesini mag wheels for my base 1199, cannot decide the color, black or gold? let vote!
 
those gold rims on the 1098 Tri and 1098S corse looked pretty damn good to me, match the frame color

for the 1199, i think it would match the ohlins and engine casing nicely.
 
Always loved the old school gold look so that's what I went with. Goes great with the modern, sleek look of the 1199, gives it a classic look. Everything else I own has black wheels, tired of it.

I like the gold or magnesium colored WHEELS, but i dont think they suit the 1199. They really looked awesome on a 916 and went well with the frame. But i do prefer the mag look over gold.
 
How bout black gold or goldish black? Go with your heart and just do it! You got a 50% chance of picking the right color...
 
Everyone has an opinion, so all I'll say is:

- Gold Ducati wheels remind me of 916/996 SP models, so a little retro

- Black is just black
 
I sold my 1098s Tri around 6 months ago to buy the 1199s Tri and the only things I miss are the gold wheels and frame. Every time I watched MotoGP I would think how good Stefan Bradls wheels looked when cranked over going thru a corner.....am I the only one???

I went for Gold magnesium but am considering painting them satin black

Black. Gold does not look that good to my eyes in the pics above.
If they please your eyes GO FOR IT....
 
After looking at all these pictures, definitely not for me either. Sorry that color makes me want to run up to your bike and scratch your wheels like a lottery ticket to see if I win something! Red/GOLD in today’s time, not cool. But my opinion and probably 60% of others agree so if you’re the 40% then go get your golden lottery scratch off ticket rims... Actually after giving it some thought, for sure go get the gold, that’s one less bike that will look as cool as mine for 2013!!!!! :)
