Mag wheels gold or black?

They suit the "special" Tri paint job much better :)

i normally steer clear of of opinion posts, but i have to agree with the above. The tric looks killer with gold wheels. Pure class while still be racy and yet very Italian.

since I am originally a New Yorker, we have a saying on black

we wear black, until something darker comes along !

Everyone has an opinion, so all I'll say is:

- Gold Ducati wheels remind me of 916/996 SP models, so a little retro

- Black is just black

gold. the black wheel trend will be over soon anyway, so be a new trend setter ;-)

btw. i don't care about thrends, just think the matte gold look on the wheels is killer!

No retro on a Pani! All new design. Ducati turned the page and I think it appropriate to follow suit. 848,1098,1198, OK but Pani is the future. Just my .02

When you first mentioned gold my first impression was wtf....!! But actually theTri belonging to bonds in the pic above does look pretty smart I have to say. Saying that it's black for me

i m going 851 R Roch rep oldschool : so black it should be... :)

but Shift tech is right, you're riding it!

mag gold wheels

wish i hadn't started to read this thread its put doubts in my mind now about fitting my brand new shiny gold marchesini mags sitting in the garage with new tyres to fit on my standard Pani when the weather gets better, but can't go back now after spending so much money on them. gold it will have to be

I just ordered the Gloss Black. Thought about the Matte black and the Gold but like I say, always bet on "gloss" black.

I sold my 1098s Tri around 6 months ago to buy the 1199s Tri and the only things I miss are the gold wheels and frame. Every time I watched MotoGP I would think how good Stefan Bradls wheels looked when cranked over going thru a corner.....am I the only one???

I got the 1199 S Tricolore, modified it a fair bit, completed all the decent mod (in my opinion) that were on the market at that time. Was then curious what the 1098 S Tricolore was like, bought one in excellent condition, modified it to the absolute maximum and just recently started continuing to modify the 1199 S Tricolore .. again.

Gold really does suit the 1098 S Tricolore.

Wheel choice on the 1199 S Tricolore has been black, however I really like the gold wheels on the 1199 as well. The gloss black wheels look proper bad .... Tough call - all good choices.

Can someone please post a pic with the black wheels? I have yet to see an 1199 with a set of black Marchesini's

Gold.... I like the old school look. But thats the only gold thing i would consider putting on my bike.
