My name is Marc, and I live in Switzerland although I originally from Canada. I currently have a 2016 x-Diavel and a 2025 Panigale V4s.
Current X-Diavel mods are minimal - wind screen, navigation unit and longer handlebars. Planned mod is only to fabricate a linkage to make it reverse shift like all my other bikes
Current Pani mods - full Akra exhaust, engine/frame/swingarm protections, race fairings, DAVC, DDL. Planned mods depend on testing this spring but are - rearsets, clipons, race switch-gear, other to drop weight from the bike - any suggestions are welcome (cheaper is better
)
I currently own too many bikes (according to my ex-wife) and I intend to add a few more before I'm satisfied. In the past, I also have owned too many bikes of all types over the years but no regrets![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Over the last 15 years, I have been addicted to trackdays and despite my age and my current "shape" I have no intentions of slowing down...my plan is to hit 80 and still be doing trackdays - albeit with a helper to get on/off the bike.
Love the new V4 but HATE the new seat shape - I feel very awkward at slow speeds because I do not trust my ability to put my foot down properly when stopping/starting which is killing the experience. I have an appointment in 2 weeks that I hope will fix this...getting a custom race seat made that will be a little lower (half an inch) but more importantly, more rounded.
I look forward to connecting with fellow Ducatista, sharing experiences, and learning more about your bikes!
