I will be at Katie's sat morning as well. Anywhere specifically motorcycles park? I've never been and assume the cars take up all the room, since cars are the point of the whole thing.

I get off at 6:30 the morning I'm going to head straight there so I will probably be there around 7 to 715. I'll try to take couple of spots for parking for bikes but no guarantees with that. Usually Bikes park on either the dashed areas for no parking or on the corners slots

Are you guys going for a ride after too? If so I might be able to join, it all depends on how tired I am after working all night?

Ah no, this isn't really a scheduled meetup. Just looks like several of us just happen to be going to Katie's Cars and Coffee in McLean. It goes on every Saturday 6am-9am (really starts at 7). As for the bikes parking it's really just first come first serve. Tomorrow looks like we may try to park together though. U gonna try to make it?

Don't worry I'll be in the obligatory busa. A group ride is not a group ride without a busa. :D


Re the meet: Let's set one to meet with a good week or two of notice. Do you just want it to be a meet/greet type deal or are we putting on some good miles.


Just throwing this out there buuuut a good ride idea might be a backroads twisty ride that starts in NoVA/MD ends up in Philly for Cheesesteak Rewards!

Put some miles on these bikes!

I think in general we are just talking about and meet up, but we can do occasional rides by all means. I'm always down to put some miles on the bike. As far as going to Philly, I think that would need some planning but again something we can do

Good meeting you too Burn! I had to laugh tho when I saw it was you being you sold me the monster and talked me into keeping the 848 vs buying a sole track bike
 
Ok everyone! This is the official 1 week notice that this upcoming Sunday will be our first meet. Obviously we would like as many of you there as possible so this doesn't become a one-time thing....we need some unity in this community (even if we do ride vehicles really meant for 1)! I am thinking 7pm as a good time to start so it's still daylight and easy to find the location for first timers there. There are plenty of restaurants in the center should you choose to eat/drink (soda!) and plenty of street parking. Now this is a trial run for the location but it is almost dead centered middle point for people from the west and east...sorry dwhit, u got the farthest to come but still hope to see you there. I'm hoping on a Sunday night the center is not packed on the streets but I may very we'll be wrong at 7pm. Location is linked below with the address but it's off gallows road. If anyone knows of another center as a backup near this spot in case it's too packed please pm me. Hope to see you all there!

Okay people! Here is the final reminder, the meet is at 7pm in front of the Angelic movie theater off gallows road in Merrifield/Dunn Loring, VA. Better have you all out there. Let's hope these thunderstorms are just a bad prediction of the lousy meteorologist...I can say that since I am one ;-). If you have any questions pm me!

Well we will see you out there germ, weather permitting. I have been watching the weather and it looks like light showers starting around 4pm and lasting for a short while. Looking at the radar looks like it's already passed but who knows. Mother Nature does whatever the f@$k she wants

Yeah it was a great first meet! We will have to get both Gunny and Burncycle out there next time. Everyone settled on every other weekend to meet up but we are skipping one so the next meet will be the June 29th. We also are wanting to do some unified cars and coffee meets followed by a cruise of some sort. Everyone there showed some serious interest. We had 7 bikes, one GTR lol germ, and 2 prospects looking for a monster each so they will be out soon. I had 2 buddies with bikes in the shop so there's a couple more and others who had things come up. Figure around 10-15 bikes per event when this takes off
 
And thanks to all who showed support and were able to come! Those who couldn't make it, don't worry, there will be more :)

Guys I am very sorry I did not make the Inaugural Meet as I TOTALLY overdid myself the entire day by detailing my truck harder than I ever did before (to the point I puked) afterward. LOL. Even I had to laugh. I am finding out how old and out of shape I seriously am lately.
Even broke the bike out and was counting on going, but passed out about 6pm when i told myself Id just lay down for 15 mins! :eek:

End result makes me happy though!

Will RIDE out to next one gents- glad you all got to put faces to names and sorry again I wasn't there. GREAT job Ducati 2012 !
