As I am still saving up for my 1199 (as another member said in a different thread, I cannot see the logic in financing one), I have a question for you current owners...

How many miles are you getting (typically) on a tank of fuel?

I am not that interested in a mpg figure, just how far you typically go on a tank.

Thanks all, and keep the rubber side down.

Going riding today on my Suzi. Beautiful day in NC today.

I am typically getting less than 100 miles between fills.... My computer says 26/27 mpg..

Normal use - 110 - 120 to reserve.
Spirited use - < 90 to reserve
Careful use - dunno - I got 65 miles on 6.1 litres, so with a 17 litre tank, work it out! (Wet mode and light throttle.)

Filling up every 100 miles consistently at 2.8 gallons. So a little under 36mi/gal.

Cool. Thanks Guys. I typically get 145miles per tank on the Suzi. So, there won't be much change in my regiment when I buy the Duc in the Fall.

With the the latest up-map i'm getting significantly better mileage. 142 miles per tank through 2 tanks thus far. At each fill up the pani only required 3.6 gallons to fill, which means I still had about a gallon left in the tank.

Open that throttle man...:D

Normally get 90-95 miles before the light comes on
then it's oh .... find a petrol station quick!!

100 miles then fuel light, then 25 more if I coast in 6th gear for any spead above 40 mph. Otherwise 20.
