First one is, whose a go to suspension shop in SoCal, if not in SoCal then West if the Mississippi?
Someplace that can advise my on best options and technical info on the mechanicals, i.e. forks and shocks abs cartridges and valving etc etc etc that can also do the work.
I want to upgrade the Shocks and forks, at at least the fork internals if that’s the best play, but I also want to keep electronic control of the suspension.
I have my reasons for that last bit…it’s just the best fit for my lifestyle at the moment and how and when I ride the bike most often. Essentially I like pushing a bottom to adjust stuff, won’t be chasing tenths on this bike, but will be riding as fast as my skill level lets me on track sessions, and out riding on the public roads some of those electronic Nannie’s are not so bad and the dynamic suspension that will be turned off on the track is actually pretty useful on public streets.
If the newer front forks on the 2022 bikes switch over to the 2020 bikes abs the electronics work then that’s an easy solution…
If not maybe this cartridge kit:
FKR 115
https://www.ohlinsusa.com/parts/201...-hypersport-pressurized-cartridge-kit-fkr-115
And I’m looking at either the TTX GP rear shock or the Ktek
With the latter is there some kind of bypass transistor people are using so the rest of the electronic suspension control stuff keeps working if the rear shock can’t be used with it?
