Most stupid Bling thing ever?

Not much technical is going on currently on this forum. So, after a bottle of red wine I decided to present you the most useless piece of bling I ever did to my Panigales: The TTX rear shock expansion vessel valve cover screw!!!

I just cut down a PodiumRacing windscreen Ti bolt.

Pictures from left to right: "old" and "new" screws, old setup, new setup

This makes your bike at least 0.5g lighter! :) :)

I am still working on the SL. She is still not lighter than my race Panigale. My goal is to get nearer to the weight region where Endodoc has gone.
To be specific the SL should go below 160kg in street legal configuration, including all lights, blinkers, all fluids, fuel, number plate and other useless stuff.
I hope that I reach this goal in Q3 of this year...
 
Reminds me of an old Army saying "Ounces turn into pounds, pounds turn into pain". I kept this in mind every time I packed a ruck. I'm sure you'll get there if you keep chipping away at it.

I don't necessarily think it's dumb. Rim tape, needless decals, chrome, etc qualifies as stupid bling in my opinion. If it doesn't make my bike faster, I'm not interested.
 
I need to get on the titanium bandwagon.. currently only rotor bolts, all 3 calipers, brake/clutch master pinch bolts, and fork pinch bolts.

Sorry Gecko my old friend. No prizes for second place. I already took my OEM one out and hand painted the top gold. I also drilled out the centre to save weight. I could not measure the weight difference however as my scale only goes to 1/10 gram. LOL
