SOLD! MWR HE Air Filter for 1199

BellissiMoto - MWR Racing Air Filters

This has been on my bike for about 4,000 miles and was recently serviced by The Cycle Pro. It is in excellent condition and ready to install in your 1199. The clear/white material on the bolts and the sides of the mounting plates is silicone that was used to provide extra security when mounted inside the airbox.

These sell for about $170 shipped on Bellissimoto.com. Mine is $110 shipped (buyer pays PayPal fees) in the contiguous 48 US States. Please PM me for a shipping quote if you live elsewhere. Thanks!

Jeff on bellissi it says a tune is needed? Did you tune have to tune yours? Is this too much air flow to leave stock?

Tyler, I've seen threads on here with guys that ran the MWR HE filter with no tune and IIRC there was no extreme lean-ness in their AFR without any fueling changes after installing it. The base maps generally run so rich that if you open up the air flow with a peformance filter change they're still rich.

I ran a RapidBike Race tuning module which automatically makes changes based on your mods (in my case it was Termi slip-ons and the MWR HE filter), at your altitude and your particular engine's variances. In fact, that exact unit is also for sale with an as-new 1-year warranty from the US Importer: http://ducati1299.com/classifieds/2...ignition-module-1199-complete-w-warranty.html

Are you running an aftermarket exhaust? Do you have plans to? If so, with a combination of MWR HE filter and slip-ons, you have potential for good gains. Here is my dyno chart showing the difference in RWHP my 2012 1199 with Termi slips/MWR HE air filter made with the RapidBike Race as opposed to the Termi Up-Map (the Up-Map is no longer needed after you install a RapidBike module). In the second chart at the bottom you can see how rich the AFR was running with the Termi Up-Map, which sapped horsepower.

Yeah im getting ready to grab a Akra Slip on ( wanted full system but dont want to deal with installing it and weight loss is minimal really wanted it for the pretty blue pipes ;) ). Ill go ahead and take this. I'll send the money now. Thanks jeff!
