Race seat, full Termis, carbon swing arm cover, carbon shock guard, carbon heel guards, higher windscreen, carbon tank protector are on. Carbon rear fender will be installed today.

Carbon license plate holder, carbon clutch case cover and carbon ignition switch cover will come later.

Want to ride it tomorrow.

I like the higher windscreen even if I am afraid that with my dark smoke visor, that might be too much, especially at night. ^^

Anyway: congrats, you're doing what I am going to do before me. :)

Congrats Patrick! Please post some picks once everything's installed:cool:

I'm just counting down the days now and debating on which extra's to install. Bikes are due on the last week of April in los Angeles (ProItalia).

Looking good Patrick :)

Get that thing tricked out proper good :D

BTW, is that a Big Pilot I see on your wrist?

Hi, pretty much the same accessories that will be getting put on mine, if it ever turns up. After riding it tomorrow, please could you let us know how you rate the screen, I know it will be slightly difficult to compare as sounds like you wouldn't have ridden it with the normal screen (unless you took a demo out, and can remember?)

All I'm after if your thoughts on the slightly extra wind protection. Cheers

No, although I have a Big Pilot, this is a TW Steel 24hr series racing edition. And a Panerai Luminor Marina.

Finally my bike comes together.

My bad, but you can see what threw me:p

Are you taking delivery tomorrow?

Yes, I don`t have comparison. But I hear from other riders here that the stock screen is very narrow. The higher screen is light tinted and quite a bit thinner than the stock one. When you are 190cm like me this is better.

Congratulations :D :)

I will get my own bike tomorrow

Was planed for today but it has been raining the whole blessed day :(

That quite simply sucks.

Fingers crossed for sun tomorrow in Switzerland, otherwise it could be delivery time in a truck.

Is that a dealer's sticker above the Panigale on your fairing?

A man with good taste in bikes and watches. I love the IWC Big Pilot. Had a tour of the of IWC in Schaffhausen a few years back.

Got my bike this morning. I was told there are 8 Panigales driving around here in The Netherlands.

The first moment I started the bike. Big smile. This full system is loud. I like it. The first moment I drove away. Wow, what incredibly light is this bike. The first moment I twisted the throttle. Wow, this is so smooth. All comparing to my 1198S. You will notice the loss of torque around 4-5000 if you are used to an 1098/1198. But I know that there is so much more after that. 6000 is max now for 1000 km.

The smoke is not bad. A little bit at start up, that dissappears. They told me because of the big bore and short stroke, the piston will 'slap' at cold temps. When pistons and cilinders are matched to each other, no problems anymore. After 1000 km synthetic oil. Well, we will see. I am not worried.

I am glad I have the high windscreen. This fairing is not wide. Order it with your bike. Photos will follow.

nice one- would love your comments on the road riding and more pictures - the full termi exhaust is fantastic, just dont know if I can bring myself to part with that $$$ I like the rear heat shield with the termi - do you think this does a better job than the standard metal one in deflecting heat?

I have had the screen on since collecting the bike so I cannot give a comparison with the standard however but what I can say is travelling along the auto-route at 130 plus ;) I found that there was not a lot of buffeting and comparing with the k1300S which I also had a double bubble screen it is much less but this could be due the aerodynamics of the K
