I answered this on a separate thread. Feel free to comment on my choices, but like all bikes--my bike, my choice.

1. Got the HEAT Shields: Panigale Heat Shield Kit
2. Got the Ducati Performance Seat: https://amsducati.com/ducati-panigale-comfort-seat
3. Got the Engine Ice: Engine Ice – When it comes to engine coolant and antifreeze choose Engine Ice! The Powersport Industries #1 engine coolant.
4. Got the Jegs flame retardent underwear: Impact Racing 78810413: Nomex Underwear Shorts Medium | JEGS
5. Not related to engine heat, but more for city/streets/comfort, I switched out my stock Pirelli Corsas to Pirelli Angel GT IIs--HUGE difference in ride.

Bottom-line: at 90-100 degrees, city riding, I can wear regular jeans (and shorts for very short rides) and not burn. I've ridden as commutes to work and all the way from NYC to CHI and I couldn't be happier.

I just added the Termignoni D170 under seat exhaust and after 400 miles I can say the heat is reduced to the point that its mostly un noticeable. I have tried in the past DEI heat reflective products under the seat around the rear of the tank etc. all I can say is once you remove the big loop curling iron from under the seat your nuts will thank you. Just thought I'd share.

In this pic you can see the DEI product on the tank and a similar product is under the seat which many of us do and produce modest results. Getting rid og the giant loop produced significant results reducing the heat. In my case I had to swap
swing arms to change to a pipe like this since mine was a two sided swing arm. I could ride all day now without any discomfort from heat. Termi D170 2.JPG

That is the most beautiful 959, ever. Period. You win.

A single swing arm 959....Can I ask how much it cost and what swing arm you used? Does it change the bike geometry?

Thank you, it rides really well at this point. To be honest I did like this pipe and I do all my own work and view a variety of classifieds to find things, with that said it does roast your balls !
Having tried the usual steps I found modest improvement I then created my own heat shield made from a license plate and the DEI product and still no help. The single sided swing is necessary
if you wish to change to the underseat cans, although that's not right Vandemom makes a similar unit that doesn't require a single sided swing arm. The 1199 or 1299 twin cylinder Pani swing arms
will bolt right on like Mr Potato head. All the parts from the swing arm back are needed, plus a new sprocket 45 teeth works great on this bike. Iv'e done a lot more to lighten it up as well.

Amazing...simply amazing. Only better if done in red.
