my mistake on the q3

i posted last week that the 200/55 was coming out for the q3. i guess the rep must have misunderstood what i asked him. when i said the size was a 200 tire he said they are being made. i looked at what he gave me over the weekend and its a 200/50 option.

i did call dunlop again and they did test on the 1199 and there will be a tire recommendation from them. it could be the 190/55 or they could make a 200/55. They still dont know i will keep you posted. I am his first call he promised me.

I can't belive you Mark.....got us exited for nothing....

I'm running a 190/55 and think its great! From my understanding 190/55 is closer to OEM than the 200/50.

The 190/ 55 and 200/ 55 are essentially the same tire from Dunlop. On the 211/212 they are within likes 2mm of each other. I know a lot of people have run 190/55 with no problem on the panigale both in 211 and in q2 and q3.

Avoid 50 profile tires in sport bikes whenever possible.

yes 190/55 is better than 200/50 anthem is also correct that they are close to the same tire

Nothing to do with stiffness or carcass. Look at tire profile of a 50. It is flatter like a Harley tire. Less traction when leaned over. If you want a shallower profile tire that's what the 50 is.
