I got a tuning file from @DeussenEngines for MY21 SF that’s based on the MY23 calibrations with improved part load quick shifting…

Full and partial load shifts offer a significantly improved riding experience… it feels great!

Daniel, would this upgrade have been included in the Ducati 22 to 23 electronics upgrade done by a dealer recall?

Ran 2 tanks fulls today and didn't want to get off the bike in 36 degree celsius weather 😅

Couldn't wait to try this tune so i drove back from work, flashed the bike and rode back then did several work related commutes.

Initial impressions were good, my verdict by the end of the day is that it's superb.

My bike has had a Cordona quickshifter very early in it's life and that improved shift quality considerably but still experienced the occasional jerk while shifting, especially at part loads.

Now it's buttery smooth... no more second thoughts about shifting in the moment or not. I've noticed i shift twice as much as i used to, shifting to 5th between intersections instead of 3rd.

To conclude... banging gears has become a complete pleasure without any of the hesitation experienced previously.

@Alkhater, @DeussenEngines resurrecting this a bit and thanks for the comments above. Are you aware of any backward compatible plans Ducati has for Euro4 U.S. models to gain access to the MY 23 QS logic?

I am otherwise going to swap to GP shift to alleviate some of the normal QS 'hesitation' issues / false neutrals. My 22 SFV4S is excellent at WoT QS, but partial throttle is clearly unrefined.

The EU4 bikes can unfortunately not be updated through the latest software by OBD.
The update wasn't available as of 05/2023 but there may have been some developments since... I'm sure Daniel @DeussenEngines can verify if this is the case.

Swapping to GP shift has been shown to improve shift quality and most importantly the shifter linkage must be set as close to 90 degrees as possible, this is essential for proper QS function.

Another remedy might be the Racetorx gear shift support that's been released recently. I haven't tried it yet but V2 owners have shared positive reviews on it's shift quality improvements.

Thank you! Hadn’t heard about the RaceTorx. Ordered! Will run it in standard shift for a bit, figure out the tune and decide on GP. I’m running and loving the Gilles Rearsets.

Ducati has no plans to bring the MY23 software functionality to any model before that.
