Gman. The owner of TPM is a good friend of mine named Glen. Tell him I send my regards and if you need it have him introduce you to his suspension guy Mike to dial your stuff in personally. Or ask for my discount on a set of tires! Lol.
Billy is the lead instructor and great guy who can seriously ride too!

All in all TPM is a good group. I often think a bit too relaxed when it comes to enforcing certain rules and ya end up with some guys seeking a sponsor while out there riding. I hear that track is pretty hot too so have a safe n fun weekeknd brother!

Thanks for the info Gunny. I've had a good time riding with TPM at NCBIKE over the past two years. I really like the road surface, more gentle than most tracks I've ridden. Glen runs some confusing events from time to time but they aren't ever too reckless. I've learned a great bit from Billy. I'd take you up on the tire offer, but I just took Mr. Dunlop up on a rebate offer. ;)
I am a little nervous of my future local track though. I'm moving to Jax this summer and will be attending Jennings. I hear they have no rules or safety checks. But for now, it's all a rumor, so I'll see for myself.

I didnt know Glen was your buddy Gunny. I, on a whim, decided to do Shenny at summit with them. Talked to Glen a bit about the track, he is awesome, always nice and approachable.

I enjoy riding with TPM much more than NESBA. I like the relaxed feel, and to be honest, so far all the track days have moved along better. NESBA is FAST, and everyone wants to be fast ... and we know everyone can not be.

NCbike is a ton of fun and has crazy grip, a lot of guys say its like Jennings GP. It also eats tires, wish I could go, but saving for some BST's for the 7 filthy :D.

Not sure if they are running reverse or not, here is a vid of reverse.

"Shenny" as you call it is one hell of a workout track! You are pretty much up on your pegs the entire time it has so many turns and short straights to catch a breath! My skinny legs were shaking by the end of a day on that track, hence why i like the Main Summit course so much better - since it offers alot more in way of different stuff.

I agree Glen is one of the good guys who is very low key and easy to get along with. The one I attended mustve been short control riders in the racer group cause it was balls to the wall serious stuffing in corners like it was a true race event and me being on the SV back then up against liter bikes made it a bit tough ya know? Keep up the great work gents and be sure to tell Glen I said hello when ya see him, although he may not know me as "Gunny Fitz" like you guys do. lol

I'm thinking of riding down there this weekend and possibly meeting up with you guys (that is if my bike it back from the shop) anyone know if they charge spectators?

I don't believe they do. If you ride down and wear a jacket boots and gloves, I think I can get you some follow the leader street speed laps at lunch. Email me at [email protected] if interested and I'll put the wheels in motion. Very interesting track.

Brett I didn't know you were one of the coaches. I wonder if we have met already? Will you be there this Sat? I'll be on my 1199s in Red Group riding with a big guy on a white Touno. Hopefully the rain gets out of here.

Gman, yes, but I usually only get south a few times a year.I was going to american supercamp (flat track school) in DE so did saturday at sheeny. I'm usually on my black and white 03 R6 but also have my base pani. Ill be at njmp and pocono alot this year. I have set the pani up for ASRA Team Challenge endurance racing so I will coach on it more to get it dialed in. Look me up. will be at Pocono in 2 weeks and NJMP for Memorial day weekend
