Need expertise please

Does anyone know where the other end of this hose ends up? Small hose on left side of case under the main coolant hoses. Noticed this morning 2 drops of clear fluid under bike. I've checked parts schematics and not sure if it's a coolant hose or breather hose. Can some one assist? Thanks in advance.

The hose on the right is the breather hose, allows oil to drain back into the engine. I've had two leaks there. Not sure about the one on the left.

So the clamped hose dead center of the picture is a breather hose? About 3/8 inch OD hose. So where does the other end connect ? Airbox?

I can help, my bike is in pieces right now. The hose, if you notice, increase in diameter as it approaches the airbox. If you expose the airbox you will see a vent on the left hand side inbetween the intakes. This is the top of that hose.

What I cant tell you is the exact purpose mechanically.

I get leaks when I overoil my filter or coolant or gas even. but it was the filter oil that ran down the exterior of that tube before. All in all I wouldnt give it a huge worry. Just double check fluid levels and filter oil. I ended up having a bunch of oil sitting in the bottom of my airbox, ick.

Another thing to do is just follow the drip, usually it will leave a faint trail that could lead you to the culprit (aka an oily airbox).

Yes, airbox to the engine case.

Thank you very much for the post. Mine has clear water / antifreeze seeping at the case end connection. Found drips under bike this morning

I just came in from that exact spot on the bike. I was pulling the headlight fuse (track bike) and noticed a small amount of reddish fluid in the same area pooled just under that coo lent hose. Is does not smell of anything really, and it not under the bike. Could be something from service time I guess, but I am scratching my head a little.

Pulled side. Removed hose. Cleaned everything. Found drip at hose on thermostat housing. Tightened and will check later for success. Thank you all who assisted.
