Looking forward to following this forum and meeting other Ducati owners. I can finally say I own a DUCATI! Iv'e been wanting one since I first laid eyes on a 916. After owning many prior bikes in N. Cal (2 R1's ,954,& 929). The ride/feel of this 1199 is so different, it will take some getting used to but I'm loving every minute of it!! The bad part is I live in South FL and well we all know about the riding in South FL :rolleyes:

i live in south florida maybe when i know for sure you arent a rossi fan you can ride with the goat of the forum. oh congrats on your dream bike.
 
twisted i converted my friend a long time rossi fan to a rossi hater. it took 3 years but its done.

he now calls rossi the evil empire like the yankees. although we are both yankee fans.

the last straw was the last race because of what lorenzo did and all the talk was about rossi coming in 10th. a simple phone call and a you were right was all i needed to put a smile on my face.

i WILL convert young r before i leave this earth

Lol you must have electrocuted him.
My dad was a yankee fan and loved Reggie Jackson. Me, I didn't care less. I met Reggie in the early 90's riding. We got along great since all I was interested in was what bike he was riding.
