I heard that the new 1199 will have an nonoptional upgraded seat warmer

IMO, I don't see a new and/or upgraded model for another 2 years. Maybe some small tweaks here and there. I'm sure an active suspension is in the works at some point and a sprinkling of the SL electronics. Whoever really knows though- that's part of the excitement!

i agree

Curious as to what the knowledgeable folks here are looking for...

Keyless ignition, revised electronics to follow what BMW did with the HP4, revised aerodynamics (just don't mess up the beautiful lines it has)? What else??

Did I miss the need for keyless ignition and revised aerodynamics somewhere?

Not saying that folks here are looking for this... But if they are coming out with a new/revised bike... most likely they will modify the bodywork... similar to what was done when they went from the 1198 to the 1199...

Keyless ignition - that was just something that I picked up from the 899 forum on a discussion about keys causing scratches... ;)

Upgrades to the electronics include a new Inertial Platform system to manage the Ducati Wheel Control (DWC). Additionally, the Ducat Traction Control (DTC) and the Engine Brake Control (EBC) is optimized with an automatic calibration of rear-tire size and final transmission ratio. Ducati's Data Analysis+ (DDA+) system uses a new sensor and software channel to record and display the Superleggera's lean angle. Race-derived, handlebar mounted control buttons enable on-the-fly adjustments of the DWC, DTS and EBC.

Ok... so for that to trickle down to the base and S models?

Active aerodynamics, predictive suspension, heads-up display, ti fork and wheels, mag swingarm and frame, graphene battery and a supercharged direct-injected 2-stroke v-4 with inconel exhaust.

And drop the price, for God's sake.

:D

Swap Ti forks with Ti frame + allu forks. Better to have lighter+stronger frame and softer forks.

Man that is the ....! I stand united with my learned colleague in my desire for the above items. :D

DWC does work awesome. I wish I could get a retrofit ECU or software flash for the R that would do it.

Took new racer school last weekend, and one guy, who was a very experienced MX racer and fast rider had a BMW HP4. When we got to the practice starts, his launch control was not working well, and he just turned it off. I was able to get my R6 off the line quicker, every time, and stay ahead of him, through 1st gear.
