Hello all,

After much debate between colors I finally picked a stealth black 1199s. At the dealer it stood out amongst the red ones (yes red is nice) but wanted something different. I am liking the matte finish.

Once I got on, the color was irrelevant as I rolled the throttle, the 1199s is surely a great ride.

Two things I like to do right away:

Fender eliminator, want a clean plate holder with still plate light and turn signals. I saw a picture of turn signals inside the tail by brake light.

Smoked Windscreen, Puig?

Congrats! I didn't like the matte black at first but it has grown on me a lot. Matte finishes are all the rage on expensive cars and it makes sense on the Duc too.

Regarding fender eliminators, there is only one choice IMHO for both function and looks:

RE: screens, I have the DP one and it looks great. I usually like Zero Gravity Corsa screens as well.

I have never had matte paint before. It is interesting and requires different care products. It does have an aggressive look :D

I really like that kit, do you know if it is plug and play?

I had my shop install it but it should be pretty simple plug and play, although mine did require the resistors to get it to flash at the OEM rate.

Pretty much. You just got to figure out what method of connecting the wires you want to use. My wife is experienced in soldering so I decided to go that route. :D
Justin at RageCycles is extremely helpful if you run into a snag.

Thanks will take a look at it.

One more thing i am interested in changing is the clutch cover, does not match anything on bike.

for the flat black look the GB racing covers will come closest, injection molded nylon, black. terrific protection.

i love the flat black, have it for my track fairings, and home made tank cover.

Congrats.
I have the Competition Werkes Ltd fender eliminator and integrated tail and flicker lights and the DucaBike clutch cover. My front flicker/mirror block offs are NewRage.

Where are you at in IL. I'm in the west suburbs of Chicago. I have the Matte also with some decals on. I like the Matte look, but it's so hard to take care of. It chips off easy too from rocks.

I have that new rage fender eliminator and turn signal setup. It was easy to install. Not fully plug and play but close. I mounted the plate back more. You can see the turn signals both during the day and night. I have a magical racing smoke windscreen with carbon surround. They only make the carbon glossy though. Here's a pic of my bike so you can take a look.

I am in north suburbs, lake county by northbrook. Do you have pics of the rear? Like the sticker kit may go for that.

Very nice, like you have done with it.

Here are some pics of the rear. I got the decal kit from a member here, hyperdrive. He's in the marketplace section.

Poe, the website states there is a plate light, where is it on the kit?

The plate light is more to the bottom below my plate. Since i relocated the plate back further I don't have a plate light. You can attach the plate where the rear passenger pegs are and the light will shine right on it. This is how it's intended to be. I just like my plate further back.
