Hi Scrapperx i'm 58 and track days are great you've got years to go so relax. Its not how old you are in body but how old in head so you can keep ahead of Father time there, and with your experince that should'nt be difficult. I wish I was 46 again. Your bike looks great. I put BST on my 848, rsprung forks and shock and they transformed it, but at 35000 did right big end. Made me think that Ducatis don't seem to last that long.. makes me wonder about the longevity of the panegale just have to wait and see.

Ha! I'm 57 going on 27! So right there with you! What do you mean by "did right big end"?

hi Truma It ran the right hand side big end bearing and so strip down motor and replace mains and big ends $5k It really made me think that a certain German bike we all know bout wouldn't do that. I love Ducati the vtwin and the way it comes out of the corner but was slightly annoyed at the longevity issue and the cost. I remember when I was 50 and the last 8 years have flown by. As a friend of mine said once you got your helmut on nobody can tell your age still teenagers at heart.

And thank God for fully coverage helmets, helps hide the gray in one's beard! Keep the rubber side down!
