New CF bits...

...Not really.

I stumbled across an extra roll of CF look vinyl wrap I had stashed away in a box. Then I stumbled across my heat gun (I do a lot of stumbling on my days off). One thing led to another and this happened...

Will it hold up? Doubt it. Does it look better? Meh Why did I do it? 'cause I can.

Looks good and way cheap. Stupid me paid $3450 to get those bits of carbon on my exhaust. I should have just bought some wrap.:D

A year later and the bike hasn't exploded as expected. In fact they haven't bubbled, pealed or faded.

I think it looks great! I had no idea a wrap could look that good!

Ooops... Did it again. This time while putting the tail back together after my track day.

Okay, curiousity has gotten the best of me... What product are you using?

Its just a generic CF look vinyl wrap. Some are better than others and this was nothing special but I opted for the 12" x 60" size for ease of use. Ordered from Amazon.

The trick is heat. It helps so much with the molding and fitting curves.

As a side note I want to say I believe I put heat reflective tape on the inside of the exhaust thingies and maybe the reason they have held up so well.
