Clutch wear is always a difficult one, as it very much depends on how you ride and where you ride, plus the miles.

Difficult to believe you went through a clutch pack in 9k miles with standard riding.
Either you're seriously abusing the clutch or your dealer is mis-diagnosing.

i have 11k miles on mine now, several track days, several passes on the 1/8 mile, some serious mountain riding.
i think it's about time for mine. under *hard* acceleration i feel it's not pulling as hard as it could. reaches good speed, but in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, i see the rpm's going up yet not the speed rising as it should. maybe the butt dyno is a bit off
