Has anybody that has an 1199 from 2012 or any year experience any clutch slippage? My dealer told me I need new clutch plates and I dont ride hard so i'm wondering if I am the only one with any slippage?

How many miles you got on your bike?

Difficult to believe you went through a clutch pack in 9k miles with standard riding.
Either you're seriously abusing the clutch or your dealer is mis-diagnosing.
What are the symptoms?

I have a set you can have that has 150 miles on it

60 bucks its yours!

i have 11k miles on mine now, several track days, several passes on the 1/8 mile, some serious mountain riding.

i think it's about time for mine. under *hard* acceleration i feel it's not pulling as hard as it could. reaches good speed, but in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, i see the rpm's going up yet not the speed rising as it should. maybe the butt dyno is a bit off :p .

i AGREE.....i think they are misdiagnosing my bike.....but what can you do when ur dealer is saying thats what it is
