Hello,

Great site for info, had Panigale S out for first ride on Sunday, covered about 150 miles, in damp conditions 11C (52F), not 100% with standard tyres in these conditions, seemed ok when i got some heat in them.

I have been riding for about 30 years:eek: both on and off road, traded my 848SF in against 1199S. Super quick and a totally different animal to any Ducati i have ridden. Running it in, so sort of taking it easy, but not to easy, standard fueling is much better than SF, there is a flat spot at lower revs and does not feel as torquey low down as other big v twins, but after 7000rpm, it takes off.

Looking forward to getting some miles in, before the weather changes, will ride until they start putting salt on the roads.

Cheers Scotrmz

Welcome, from Jersey, a bit further south that you - not alot warmer though!

The 41T rear sprocket helps with the low down torque.

Thanks Guys for the warm welcome. Plan to get chain and sprocket changed at first service, changed SF front sprocket from 15t to 14t, made a great improvement.

Scotland is a great place to ride, if you can avoid the changeable weather (which is difficult) and the law. Sometimes you do not know how lucky you are, within 30 minutes i can be at Loch Lomond and the choice of many great open roads.

Enjoy, I'm glad you are having fun with her.
