New member here. Just got rid of my MV and came back to Ducati. Only 300 miles on the 1299 S but what a different machine from my previous 1199. I can't wait to get her broken in.

Cheers

Welcome brother!!

Im originally from New England and started my racing lifestyle attending the Penguin School at Loudon, and racing there on that dangerous track for a few years before finally experiencing such great places like VIR & Summit Point.

Though your ride time is cut a little shorter than us down south due to the weather you have, at least you have one of the country's best Ducati Master Techs who literally breathes Ducati night and day up there! Not sure where you bought that new bike of yours man, but you should definetely get out to see Kyle Thompson at Seacoast for absolutely anything you need (or want) done to your bike buddy!!

Safe riding and enjoy the New England Summer bro!!

Welcome!

What part of NH are you from? I'm from Salem. Pretty much everyone around here take their Ducati to Seacoast.

@Gunny
Did you live here at some point?

New England

Hey Kickar

I never "lived" in NH but spent enough time at Loudon / Laconia (BCM Motorsports) if you were into Ducati's back then when they were around? Also spent some time up at Lake Winnipesaukee - where my father even died while on vacation too. I am originally from Connecticut, which is almost a shameful thing to admit these days with that friggin ridiculous Gov Malloy they have up there crushing everyones wallets and 2nd Amd Rights like he wrote them!

Iv'e known Kyle since like 1994 when I took my 96' 900SP up to BCM for a little "Makeover!" He and the Owner, Bruce Meyers (Ducati Legend) dropped a 944 Kit into my bike, with a set of 42mm flat slide Keihin carbs on it too, and some other engine mods which ended up tweaking out near 100hp & same in torque - which on a 2 Valve Bike in those days was Killer! Then my good friend Sean Lezotte from Connecticut Cycle Refinishing (CCR) did a "wicked" cool (A very Mass original word eh?) paint job on a set of Sharskinz which I kept on there until the day I finally let it go in 2010 - which nearly broke my heart doing that!

Hope you guys don't mind me showing you a few pics of the 944, what I traded it in for - 2010 LE Corse 1198s, and then up to what I have now?
All along the way I have always tried to stay in touch w Kyle who is hands down a super low key guy that possesses more Ducati knowledge than most anyone I ever knew! Have you ever dealt with him personally there?

Have a dear friend in Bedford ( rides a Harley). His son was interested in buying the Ducati dealership. Is it now under new management/ still operating. Hope so or you will have to travel for service!

Thank you all for the welcome!

I live only three miles from the track in Loudon. I have been in this area most of my life.
I am very familiar with the guys at Sea Coast. They are a great group and really know their Ducati bikes. Unfortunately I did not purchase this bike from them.

I traded my 2012 base 1199 (which I purchased from Seacoast) for a 2015 MV F4RR. I managed to put 2,500 miles on it and had issues with it. I traded it back in and my 1299S.

Let me know if you would like an introduction to Kyle Thompson via email, or as I said - just simply contact him at Seacoast and let him know right away that I sent you to him for anything related to your bike and what you'd like to accomplish. Many others here know of Kyle as well and his unreal knowledge and passion for Ducati! :)
