Hello everyone. I am new here and would like to say hello! I do not own an 1199, yet. I currently own a 2013 diavel cromo. I am looking to sell or trade to achieve my goal of an 1199 Panigale. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I live in northeastern Pennsylvania.
 
Awesome move...I went from Diavel to 1199 and have never regretted it... welcome!!!
 
Not yet. Local dealer only has a leftover 2012. I would have to travel an hour to next closest dealer. I was thinking of going to the BMW dealer just to see what they say. I have 4700 miles on mine, got it in may.

Can I ask why you did not like the diavel I was thinking about picking on up and the end of this winter? don't mean to steal the thread
 
Not that I don't like it, just looking for a little more! ;) I put a Corbin seat on it and is very comfortable. I miss having a windscreen, naked bike is just not for me.
I just love the look of the Panigale!! Wish I pulled the trigger on one when I got the diavel!

Well please understand this is a totally personal opinion....

Suspension was awful.... any large bump would drive your spine into your brain.. Despite having a claimed 162 HP it felt underpowered and I was constantly hitting the rev limiter wanting more.. Had issues with the dash dying...For a " cruiser" the range was poor.. Just was not a good fit for me..
 
That is my only concern with the 1199. I'm sure you do hit the rev limiter, just tell me it takes a little more!!??

I do but you get a 3 stage warning of its approach and its 1000 rpm higher and by then the 1199 is going pretty well... The Diavel never felt that way...or even close...

I have to say I think the white is awesome... I do like white vehicles my SLK250 is white as is my c300 so I am partial... the red is sexy but In my opinion common.... I think I have the only white one in Vermont so I like that too
