Honestly I have not ridden at night since I put them in. I assume the lighting advantage will be minimal. I did it just as a cheap fix, the mismatched light color made me nuts.
Thanks for sharing, great. Would you mind sending a link of where you purchased from or more details on exact spec (couldn't tell from 1st pic)? I definitely indend to so same for my 1299. Also, given it only took 5 mins, I assume simple plug and play?
The size was written on the back of the OEM bulb. Size H11 12volt 55watt. The link above is the same size. Not sure about the 1299 size assume it's the same.
As for the install all you need to do is un-clip at the black finger. It looks like it should be the gray part but it's not (Ducati). Once unplugged twist the bulb toward the middle of the bike and wiggle the bulb out. It helps if you remove the semi-circle rubber cover above. Put the new bulb in twist away from middle and plug the "clip" back in. Repeat on the other side. No need to remove any plastics but it is a tight squeeze.
Hope this helps.

Just an update. I just got back from a night ride and I noticed the bulbs were much brighter but did not project light at a great distance the way I assume the LEDS do. If that makes sense.
Just installed on my 1299, looks great, noticeable difference in colour. I tried taking pics with one side installed as a comparison, but pic didn't come out showing the difference as it is in reality. Thanks again PGH1199, especially for the installation tips too.
Unfortunately these Phillips diamond bright replacement lights aren't brighter than the stock. I sacrificed looks for performance and bought the Phillips xtreeme bright it's twice the projected length of the stock and the diamond brights. But the look just like the stock bulbs but when riding at night I would rather see further than look cooler. Just my opinion.
