Haven't seen this posted before so I figured I'd share. Seems like a clean and clever way to mount your phone.

I think they have that option on their site as well. The phone case/mount is made by Topeak, so you could just buy the mount and buy the case separately.

That being said, I don't ride on the street much anymore but when I do I prefer to keep my phone in my jacket. I have this fear of being hit/crashing, ending up in a ditch, and not being able to call for help because the phone is still attached to the bike.

My son made me this platform so I can mount either a phone or camera,using one of two plates with the appropriate phone,camera,Sat nav clamps.
So far I have mounted my phone to it. It works for me

Not for everyone I suppose but it's useful when I need to know we're the hell I'm going

for a lousy $7, you can get this mount which is actually pretty solid when it attaches to the triple clamp and the holder is big enough for most phones; this is the one I have but i rarely use it since my radar detector owns that spot. honestly it's not a bad mount and it will certainly do in a pinch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079GNDJ8D/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
