How many of you remove the mirrors each time for a trackday?
 
I have had the mirrors off once, for the application of the protective foil. putting them back on is a real PITA. you can mak it better by taking them off carefully and watching/remembering the wire and connector positions inside the housings. but still...

anyhow. i am going on the track on saturday as well, will take them off.

It looks awesome without the mirrors but since I'm riding the bike to the track because I don't have a trailer I decided not to take them off. Don't feel like tinkering with them after a day of hard riding :D
 
I just use cable ties to secure the holes againist the inner golden metal bracket, work fine for me. Took me about 20 mins to remove the stock mirrors.
