Can a newer order with some experience with changing motorcycle oil be able to change oil and filter on a 2024 Ducati Nightshift? I’ve seen some videos on older Scramblers and the process looks very involved. I also cannot find a shop manual for my bike so I thought I’d try this forum.

Thank you for any advice.

You should be able to change the oil on any Ducati. A few common sense things, the best oil and frequent changes. Fill the new oil filter with oil before you replace it. Don’t over tighten the filter. Hand tighten is the best. K&N oil filters have a nut on the filter with a hole for safety wire. I always like to safety wire the drain plug and oil filter. Another trick is to order a big flat donut shaped super magnet and put on the bottom of the oil filter. The magnet helps the oil filter capture fine ferrous metals that are too small for the filter element. There’s a good thread about the best oil.
Post some pictures of your concerns. Is it accessing the filter and drain plug?
What specific questions do you have? Your bike is actually pretty simple. You should be able to find a YouTube for a Sport Classic or Monster, and yours is the same. The best oil is the most important. Red Line “Power Sport” 10w/50 or 20w/60 motorcycle oil is extremely good.
