new Temi under tail exhaust

Can't wait for a sound clip! I'm holding off on exhaust for now because I have a close friend giving me the dual Akra that is coming with his Superleggera when he gets it, he doesnt like the dual exhaust look :D

Wow that's quite a steal. Not sure why he'd sell it though as it is a signature part of the bike. Assuming you meant the 1299SL.

I like it! Aesthetically speaking, I still think the stock style Akra is better looking. On a functional note the under tail should help get rid of most of the heat issues as well as make a bit more power. However, a couple issues would have to be resolved first before I'd buy it.

1) A belly pan replacement. Maybe you could fit the euro 959 belly pan on?

2) Turn signals? Yeah, I know there are the integrated tail lights out there but they all appear to be unreliable and not bright enough...

Another thing is the weight. Obviously this system is pretty light...BUT... the header pipes are stainless steel and not Ti. I'd gladly pay an extra $800 for a lighter full Ti version.

BTW - Looking at Termi's web site I noticed that it says it reduces the weight by 3.377 KG from stock. That is not the the total system weight. Having a full Ti version should reduce the weight by about another Kg.

Pictures please and some details....
I guess all steel, no titanium?

DESCRIPTION

Termignoni introduces the new racing complete exhaust system for Ducati Panigale 1199 e 1299 (Model Year 2012-2017)

Exclusive "Force" design and underseat placement was developed by Termignoni Racing Department to improve performance and vehicle aesthetic.

The exhaust is characterized by the main structure in stainless steel, titanium sleeve and rear carbon cap.

The titanium bush are machined with CNC and give to the exhaust more resistance. In the box are included two carbon heat shield.

In terms of performance it offers:an increase of power ( + 4,6 Hp at 10.000 rpm) and torque (+ 0,81 Nm at 10.000 rpm).

Max gain is +13,4 CV at 5,400 rpm and at 7,000 rpm, the complete system offers a reduce of weight (- 3,377 kilos)

NOTE

Remember that the original plate holder and passengers foot pegs , don't fit with complete system Termignoni code D170.

It will be possible to buy aftermarket our dedicated plate holder, passengers foot pegs, and lock to open posterior seat.

TITANIUM and STAINLESS STEEL

I'd like a picture of the bike with the exhaust installed, but the fairing off. Curious about how Termi made the pipe routing :)

Maybe this will help...?!!;)

If they make a full Ti version I will buy one....

Just cause your eyes were closed when you did it doesn't mean it didn't happen. We all know what you did to get it...lol. Congrats!!

I like it, but as said above there needs to be a belly pan add on piece like the 2017 SL has, otherwise it looks like something is missing.

I'm not sure what I think about it yet. I'm still on the fence. I definitely agree with getting a belly pan for it or something to fill in where the oem mufflers were located.

sorry to dig up an old thread,
but did anyone solve the rear seat lock issue?
as i haven't found anything online about the e-lock aftermarket item?

thanks

I have the system fitted now and also the number plate holder..
still annoyed about the lack of solution for the rear seat cover lock though
