New to the Ducati world

Hello everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Cook and I just got a new 1299s. A Ducati has always been my dream bike and the opportunity finally arose to get one and couldn't pass it up. I just put my break in miles in on it and have already did my first track day on it and all I can say is WOW I love this bike. Already planning some upgrades to get the most power out of it so if anyone has any suggestions please shoot them my way.

Congrats and welcome!

As far as power goes, it has plenty of power already and also very light bike so only things that are resasonably you can do for $$$ is:

Exhaust
Air filter
Rapid bike or TuneBoy (can void your warranty)
Gearing
Carbon wheels

Many will have different opinions on this as well.

Everyone overlooks rearsets. It's one of the best mods you can do for the money. The 41t 520 kit being a close second. I did these before I installed the Akra, RapidBike etc.

The power does feel nice already but I tend to always want more even though I will rarely ever be in a situation to use it all. It is at the shop now getting the full Akra system and a sprint filter now. It came with a up map key but I'm not sure about it compared to a rapidbike.

Im coming off of a S1000RR and I had some rearsets on it. It's amazing how something like that can change the feel of a bike. But I also had a full Akra system, sprint filter, Brentuning ECU flash and Carbon Wheels and it was by far the fastest bike I have ever rode so now I find myself starting over with this bike.
