Just wanted to say hello to everyone.
Changed from a 1098S to a Panigale 1299 on Saturday and have done about 250 so far.
Absolutely love the bike and can't wait to finish th erunning in period so I can whose more of the rev range.
Quick shifter is so smooth already and way better than the one I use on my track bike

As my pal STW said- Welcome to the best forum on these bikes and sincere congrats out to you for moving up to an entirely new ride as well "mate"

I just remembered you "blokes" call it "running in" as we here call it "break in" - which my "personal" mantra is "Run it in HARD & FAST, and use every feature and setting the bike has came to you with my friend! (But as you will find, there are many, many opinions when it comes to this train of thought mate.
There are so many different words between us that all mean the same eh? The one I could never get over was "tyres" Lol. :)

Stay safe and CHEERS !!!

Welcome to the forum, hope you are getting the weather to enjoy the bike and get it run in.

Hello and welcome to our friendly forum. Some very knowledgable people here lots of good advice.
The weather in Blighty is mixed but I am sure you will find some windows of opportunity to ride your lovely new bike!
Kind Regards
Carole
