Perfect. There is so much bad info floating around about wheel weights all should be be stated bare. As Ducati goes to the DSSA the wheel weights will now be pretty much the same as the BMW, Jap bikes etc. Better info on those than the ducati wheels.DSSA?? What’s that mate? BST Only makes the matching oem carbon style matte carbon wheels for the ducati v4 SP2 wheels & They weigh a little more & pay almost double what Rapid Teks cost and have to buy through Ducati. For those who have BSTs, which variety of their wheels matches OEM Panigale carbon fiber: BST's matte or satin carbon fiber wheel?
Brocks Performance is the U.S. distributor. Their website shows satin and matte.ETA: I’m only seeing they are either satin or gloss.
I was also looking at the Star Tek wheel so not the one Ducati Performance sells through the dealer. I was trying to figure out if matte in Star Tek or satin in Star Tea matches OEM carbon fiber better.BST Only makes the matching oem carbon style matte carbon wheels for the ducati v4 SP2 wheels & They weigh a little more & pay almost double what Rapid Teks cost and have to buy through Ducati.
this is exactly what i did...i even coated all the DP stuff to gloss...so everything is the same..great results with this product here:The OEM carbon fiber is satin without a doubt. If you want all of the parts to match perfectly, you may consider clearing coating them all at the same time with whatever gloss level you want.
I've used the duplicolor rattle can extreme gloss with good success refurbishing carbon fiber. I think they offer this in satin also. I agree the ceramic stuff is the solution. I did the clowncar with ceramkote. I'm going to try to con the oldest grandkid into doing beautiful's car.this is exactly what i did...i even coated all the DP stuff to gloss...so everything is the same..great results with this product here:

this .... is hard as diamonds, not a scratch in 30k miles on some of my carbon...
check out our amazon .... dude...some great low cost options. The ceramic coating that you’re all taking about is ridiculously expensive over here in the UK.
I'd say it's worth the bucks but maybe not the pounds. Is as advertised. Good idea to prepsol (prepaint wax and grease remover and hopefully not the VOC stuff) first. After I applied it, I double waxed with high tech carnauba. If I wasn't so lazy I'd do my car. These guys also make and aviation versions. The ceramic coating that you’re all taking about is ridiculously expensive over here in the UK.
