hi all,

Just to announce that an extensive quality 1199 R (RR? ) trackbike project will be started.

the bike should arrive by mid march and be ready for 90% by the summer.

it will involve

fairings and paintjob
suspension update front and rear
electronics
overhaul of the brakesystems
wheels & Tires
stripdown

all stages will be put on here..

i'm really looking forward to suggestions of all the conoisseurs here!

Welcome! Sounds like a great project and there is lots of great info and good people with thoughts and opinions for your build.

Don't forget new rearsets to replace the slippery stock units!

there was a voucher with the purchase and i chose : The Corse pegs and corse brake levers...

ps : i decided not to make a spreadsheet ! just spoils the fun...

sounds like a fun project and i am a big fan of the 888SP and 916 SP look, i prefer it to the current livery of the R model.
