Just picked up my Panigale base model and to my surprise I didn't get a red key and a code card.

I also didn't receive the standard red pouch with the tools.

Did everyone else just receive the two black keys with their Panigale?

Yeah just 2 black keys. Look under the seat cowl and there is a little compartment that houses the tool kit.

This is interesting because I got two black keys also however, one was in a red plastic sleeve and it came with the code tab attached to it.

Dealer said it is "the red key, don't lose this effer or you're screwed."

Yeah I think Ducati has a registered serial # that is kept at your dealer now and if you need more keys they can just order them. There was a a little tag that was attached to one of the keys that had a number on it which is your record of the key number but I dont think its a big deal if you lose it as the dealer and Ducati will have that on file. My dealer told me that all the keys are the same now. Im going to ask what a replacement key will cost, Im sure its not cheap either probly 200 to 300 dollars knowing Ducati.

Spaaaaaaaaaaam! :mad: ::shakes fist::

NOTE This one already has TWO posts and isn't banned.

lost keys

I was told by the dealer the red card is no longer required.

Apparently, the display unit on the bike programs the key...not sure how they do it though?
