Just thought I'd bring this up. I rode my bike about 600 miles in September until one day it wouldn't start. It sounded like a battery so I put my charger on it. Next day the bike started and ran fine. A week later/ same problem. I went and purchased a new battery and the bike still wouldn't start. To the dealership I go. A month and a half later and missing the last 3 track weekends of the season I get my bike back.
Compression release which is this tiny little piece that when I saw it didn't even look like it could've been bad until he showed the finest groove in it. I couldn't believe that this thing went bad and just the tiniest groove in it which was approximately 3mm long and maybe a mm deep could cause that engine to not start. Amazing.
