I just purchase a used termi full system but it didn't come with the up map, any suggestions?

Install it and run it without an upmap(no, this will not cause harm to your motor but obviously it won't be the best performing option), wait patiently til one pops up for sale on the forums (not often), buy one from the dealer n pay an arm n a leg for it or go with a rapidbike or tuneboy n be better off. You have a ton of options.

I went from the Termignoni up map to Tuneboy and it's well worth it and easy to install. Plus Tuneboy can provide optional cruise control.

you do not need an up map as double0 stated... but a tuner of some sort will help you bike run much better. As for the age old rapid bike vs tune boy, thats a personal decision but I would get one of those two if you dont find an up map.

I cant speak on tuneboy application as I have rapid bike race. I have, however, heard many mixed reviews on tune boy (you can do a quick search here and find a plethora of them). Most people having the issue of not getting support once the item was bought and one other report of tune boy bricking the ECU on a new 1299 (absolute worst case I would think). Just do your due diligence and find which is right for you, don't just to a decision and further regret it with anything you end up picking (if you pick anything at all)

So my performance tech says they can map my bike for $400 and I won't need anything else. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Yep, seen a few people take this option... However make sure they've done this before as I recall one time my friend's system was totally butchered due to improper map.

Yes they do it a lot there and this place really has the stuff together. What is BAS tuning as they performed that on my bike and it really dialed it in? Gonna do my homework before I decide

$400 for a one time remap? I say buy the Rapid Bike module for $200 more, it constantly remaps to optimal fuel mix and is future proof, just in case you decide to change air filter, different altitude, different gas octane...

I have an 1199 term up map from a slip on, idk if this is the same as the full system, but I will sell it to you if interested
