One of the first mods I do on every bike is switch to reverse shifting, it's so natural for me. (Lord knows why Ducati's reverse QS shaft cost so damn much, over $500).

A good quality rear set with many adjustable angle options is next. I usually go with SSR, love the workmanship. AR's prototype seems up to be up to par on quality and looks but right now Bonamici Racing has my attention. This the only pic i've seen so far but man its beautiful

Does that fine knurling actually give a grip improvement?

I can't go past Vortex for grip.

They might not look as good, but they're so grippy!

Can't see how the knurling on that set can even come close to the grip of a Vortex set.

Those do look good as do the AR ones, but I will wait to see what CNC bring out before I make a decision on rearsets.

You might be right, Vortex does look grippy but look at the aggressive knurling on the ends of the pegs...I like that the whole peg isn't like that, sometimes you needs a little movement on the pegs (sliding you boot fwd to the shifter then back on the ball of your foot) then on the edge to get your knees down...looks perfect to me.

With so much weight on your inside foot, 10mm of 'grip' on the outside of the peg is not enough IMO.

The Vortex don't tie your feet down :)

I don't think I'd consider anything else after having them on both bikes.

Slightly Mislead?

Sorry bro, they're exactly the same as the Racing Bike Rearsets which have been available for some time now, just re-branded. Check them out on eBay

In my opinion, Vortex makes the best rear sets. A set has gone on every bike I've owned before.
Called Vortex last week, and unfortunately they said no plans to make a rear set version for 1199. Said was not a common bike.
Big downer.
