Has anyone installed these yet? I did, they are arriving today. The installation looks easy, just wondering how easy it is to redirect the turn signal wires from the old position (up the rear side mirrors) to the new position into the clip ons.

If you have installed them, can you post the steps you took. Thanks

I was thinking about doing this, with the little mirrors on them. I go back and forth if I like the look of it. Post some pics if you can. Thanks SPM

Got them on last night. Took me a while driving around to find a store that had a 12mm allen wrench to get the stock bar ends off. Haven't wired them yet. Trying to figure the best route for the wires. I also installed the block off plates where the old mirrors were.

The mirrors are very small and I like the way they look. The turn signals do stick out about another inch or so, but this is not noticable when riding at all. Mirrors also are surprisingly effective.

I'll post pictures tonight.

Do you feel that these mirrors work better (not look better) than the stock ones man? That you can views stuff behind you. I just don't see it. No pun intended.

Yes - i think they work better. The lenses are convex, so they actually give a wider field of view. I can see cars on the side and directly behind me through one mirror. Takes a little getting used to, but now that I am, I like them.

Even though the stock mirrors were better than the 1098 / 1198 series, I still found that I had to shift my arms to see around me. And they vibrated badly. The oberon mirrors have no vibration at all either.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not reading license plates behind me with these, but that's not what I'm looking for. The images in the mirrors are small, but more than enough to give you a great sense of what is around you. Much better than the stock mirrors. Stock mirrors didn't seem to give that good a field of view. Especially for cars just over your shoulders.

Next step is wiring the turn signals. Will look to do this tomorrow or sunday. Looking for anyone that has already wired these to give me an idea how you snaked they wires. I have some thoughts, but am curious as to what others have done.

I used posi locks for the wires. But for right now I just have them dangling in the air. I'm gonna have my tech remove the front cowl and move the wires around for me. The front cowl is a bitch to remove!

i too purchased this kit and will be installing sometime soon but i don't like the posi lock connectors and will be doing something different. i think i will remove the front cowl when doing the install as i have six months to wired and put it back together over the winter. i should be able to remove and reinstall the cowl by then, with alot of swearing i am sure and enough time to reorder whatever i break in the process. :D

Anyone know what size of these Oberon bar end turn signals fit our bike? I'm seeing 7/8 inch, 1 inch, etc. What size do I need for the Pani?

Thanks!
