Hi all,

I just replaced my clutch slave unit with an Oberon unit and now I’m finding it hard to change gears. I’ve bleed it like 15 times and still feels the same

When the oem unit was removed, my mate pulled out the rod . However it’s all back in and running. I’m using Moutl rbf 700

any thoughts

2012’1199 tricolore

Need more info, your bike is only QS one way? Is it the clutch not engaging thats making you bleed it, or is the gear lever not working one way or the other?. If the latter check the spline position assuming you removed the gearshift to replace the slave.

Cheer Paul, I’ll look into it further

Bike is pretty much standard with a full termi system. It’s as though the clutch rod isn’t pushing it further enough

when i did the oberon slave on my 2012 1199 there were two models...pretty sure one of them has a shorter throw/push...i'd double check the one you purchased is correct

They only have the one model now based on the information on the website

Depending on your mileage it may be worth checking the clutch disks for wear.

Goes in for a desmo service on Monday, when they bike gets warm, it runs like a dream

Update, just keep bleeding and make sure you drain all the old fluid out using pressure.

Lever still gets stiff when the bike gets hot; at a later stage I will upgrade to a 16RCS Corsa Corta
