Odd noise after bike is off

Did they actually see an issue with your valve or are my going off a guess?

They said that would be the cause of the issue and would replace it. Showed them the video of what was happening so there was no guessing.

Would you mind sending me the video? I’d like to make sure this isn’t what’s happening with mine. It doesn’t sound like the same issue but I’d love to check. Does yours stop the moment you add a little bit of fuel?

As of two days ago I’m getting random stalls when stopping with the clutch held in at stops. No jerkiness or chugging prior, almost as if the kill switch was pressed. I’m definitely noticing pressure / air vent when opening the gas cap as well. I haven’t had a single stall up until now in the 2000 miles I’ve ridden the bike. I’m assuming this has to be somehow related. Potential clogged charcoal canister ? Any advice is welcome. Speaking to the dealer this week to check on it

If you have an air compressor you can try opening the gas tank cap and on the left side try blowing air into the tube and see if its making its way freely out the end.

I don’t have an air compressor but where would I expect the air to vent ?

Mine vents out the bottom of the fairing just behind the radiators. I also have a akrapovic installed so the filter etc. is gone.

i know this thread is old but i wanted you guys all to know where the bubbles are coming from.. the fuel could very well be boiling in the tanks.. but the bubbles you guys see coming from the lower part of the tank is not ...its a defect in the pump assembly, and its the reason that my 2019 v4 vapor locks and will not start after its been sitting for 20minutes or more after riding, i can reproduce the vapor lock repeatedly.. this leak in the video is whats allowing the pressure in the feed line to drop and the fuel to vaporize and cause vapor lock. it takes 15 to 20 attempts to restart my bike after this, sometimes i just give up.
heres the bubbles

heres the leaking points

this is the fix im trying, ive found reports in past of models all the way up to 2020 exibiting this. havent found any above 2020
so maybe they addressed this leak, if its leaking air as low as 7psi of vapor pressure for sure its leaking fuel pressure at pump pressures

There is (was) a check ball in the breather assembly in the gas cap. It was removed at one point and there was a service bulletin telling dealers to remove it. I've tried it with and without the ball, no real difference.

I removed the EVAP canister and ran both the overflow and breather tank lines to a catch bottle.

I'd also add that I think the guy here who went with a racing style gas cap don't have the venting/vapor build up problems as they seem to vent straight to the atmosphere. I wouldn't use one if I parked my bike in public places for extended periods of time. The LighTech TFN212 is the correct part for 1199 and newer Ducati bikes that all use the same OEM gas cap. The LighTech is the only one I found which will fit the Ripper gas nozzle, should you like that for track days.

These nozzles are a pretty cool design in that they're self venting and will shut off when the tank is full. No hoses or funnels to mess with. Its too big for the OEM gas cap though.

Hey brother when you have a sec can you post links to that fuel tank cap and that gas can lid?

Update: Nevermind, found them, that gas cap fits the V4’s?

These work well too btw:
