This would seem to be an easy task, but it has eluded me. Trying to remove the clip on bar end weight in order to install a brake lever guard.
I have the correct hex driver for it. But it's as if the thing is welded to the clip on tube. I presume the thread is right hand and simple needs a bit more persuasion. I've tried removing the tube from the bike and grasping in a collet on my lathe, but the whole thing just spins within the collet.
Just want to check before moving on the more force/torque on the darn thing.
