Can anyone tell me are 899 & 1199 stock silencers the same?

I have an 1199 which I am trading against a new one and I want to retain my Termignoni's but I don't have the stock silencers to fit and the only ones I can find for sale are for an 899 the parts are different numbers but most big manufactures advertise aftermarket silencers under same part number
Any help appreciated

yes , they are the same.

i know them inside out. :D

Cheers mate shall purchase these ASAP

In terms of returning the ECU to standard I have told the dealer to do this! But what exactly does that entail? Reason I ask is because I plan to sell the termi's as I don't believe they will fit my 1299 which I have ordered

i'm curious what they will do. would be a slap in the face if they wouldn't fit and i wouldn't understand why they would do a change to the plumbing and fixing points on the 1299...

PS as I bought bike with them on is there a chip change (like my old 916) to return ECU or is it all electronic?

The maps are all contained in the ECU and the key only unlocks them... reverting back to stock is all done without swapping any hardware.
