Ohlins mod... 1199S one day??

Ohlins have had a semi-active setup like that for the ZX10 out since 2011. And note that that is still not a fast-reacting solenoid-valve setup like the HP4 has; it just changes damping like you would with DES, it just switches on the fly based on things like speed and other parameters. If I were looking for electronic suspension, I wouldn't bother with anything short of a solenoid-based setup. HP4's damping valves can change 100 times a second.

I'm thinking magnetorheological dampers would be the stuff, but of course I'd need a Cray XC30 to set my sag after that... :p

You lost me at Magnetor..... lol

Hehe... Basically variable viscosity damping fluid that changes its effective thickness virtually instantly based on electrical current. No need for fancy shim stacks and/or solenoid valves, and your suspension becomes extremely tuneable and dynamically active using electronic rather than mechanical means. Think about getting firm chassis control at the same time as a magic carpet ride over cracks and potholes, with massively tuneable response. It's coming, but it's quite spendy at the moment.

Sounds freaking awesome.... Ducati... Are you listening???
