Ohlins is having a sale on the TTX GP/NIX 30 set for $2395. I got it for $2200 at my local dealer!

Excellent value! Got the same kit 2 years ago and it changes your bike dramatically!

If you're doing track riding at any level you can't afford not having this on your bike!

Way better than OEM Ohlins IMO.

And lighter too so I hear! Another track mod I had looked at is upgrading the calipers. Are they worth it for mild track use, or just prettier nickel/gloss black options :)

If you have JLo braking skills you definitely need the caliper upgrade.;)

Chumps like me go for lighter wheels.:D

Seems like a decent improvement. I just picked up a TTX MKII with an 85nm spring with 150 miles on it for $650. Think this new valving is worth $1500 in my case? I'm just excited to be getting rid of the oem Showa. I'll redo my forks with Ohlins internals before I get the newest TTX GP. Heard nightmares of these Marzocchi forks not being very adjustable on the track. Let me know what you think of that shock. :)

As they said in the video, it was from their GP racing design - so you or I ever having an issue with that valve bending are negligible if any. But being able to adjust with your fingers is a big plus - BTW you wont pay 1500, they are online for $1195.

The NIX30 inserts in the Marzocchi shocks are actually lighter than the Ohlins forks, so the best of both worlds in that case.

I am on my 2nd set of Marzocchis, the ones I got in my 2012 base failed long toime ago (as it has happened to so many others). Last weekend Dave Moss did my suspension and said that these new forks works perfectly well and that ducati had solved the problem. The bike felt great in the track after his adjustments. I am wondering if the $1300 investment on Ohlins cartridges would make sense given that the marzocchis are working fine (independently of weight saving). Any opinions?

No, I will do the rear. And I actually might get a better price - $2156 - because my dealer gives a 10% discount to our local club members, and being the VP I may get 11% :D

Actually I meant installation of the cartridge kit, which I will do for free, the shock installation is kind of a no brainer isn't it?
