haven't ridden the 1199 much in the last 2 years. Change oil a year ago 2/19. How often do you guys change your oil if you don't ride it much (eg 1000-2000km a year).
I think it's time to change it again since it's been 12 months.

Yeah once a year If ur doing at least 100 miles a year, If ur under 100 miles a year u could go on a bi-yearly schedule.

if it’s a display piece and you’re legit not riding it, I’d think once there’s fresh oil in it, it’s fine until it starts getting used again

I used to do yearly oil changes but its 100% synthetic oil not synthetic based so won't change again till it hits its 12,000 kms service.

After speaking to the Ducati workshop I am changing the oil every 2500km. But If we stick with the manual, it is 7500km/ 1 year

I change my oil when it starts to look dark (carbon deposits). Any more frequently than 6 months unless you are are doing track days every other track day its false economy. Also I may be opening a can of worms here, fully synthetic for a race bike, semi synthetic for us mere mortals who ride on the road

Everyone has an opinion on the matter but no real data to back it up. I just stick with what Ducati tells me 7500 mi or once a year.
