Oil Filter Cover - Correct Install

Hi,

Thought it would be useful to have this confirmed, as I had a worrying conversation with a Duc mech that swore it was a universally fitting piece :confused:

Take a look at the pic - it most definitely has a right and wrong way:

So, is this way correct?
 
Yes, that is the correct way. Thin flange edge on top, thick flange edge on bottom.
 
If you actually manage to take it out the inside has a ducati logo and some writing on it. Just make sure the logo is not upside down and you should be fine.
