Oil smell when revved hard

Greetings to all,

Not sure where from hadnt had the chance to remove fairings or open up air box. Oil leaking but only when engine is pressed ie 10-11K rpm.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Maybe vapours through oil breather which I think runs though the air box. Oil level normal between min -max marks. Valve covers xhecked already and tight. Same with oil filter cover. Chain has been dry so its no chain lube.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Try looking on the left hand side of the bike where the oil breather comes out of the crankcase. You shouldn't have to remove the fairings to see.

My valve covers would do just that; only leaking when ridden hard.
